Stamp Club Project for April

I'm so excited about the stamp club project that we are going to do this month.  I gave everyone a chance to vote on whether they wanted to do this project or not since there was going to have be a little bit higher supply fees.  But it was overwhelming that everyone wanted to do it.  

 

This fun project holds four cards in the middle has a magnetic section on the left and a corkboard on the right.  It can hang from your wall and is such a handy project for staying organized.  Plus it is a fabulous gift.  You can join me at any of my club dates on Wednesday the 18th, and Thursday the 19th at 6:30 pm or Friday the 20th at 8:30 am.  Plus I'm offering a open club night on Wednesday the 25th at 6:30 pm.  So please RSVP by April 17th if you would like to join me for this fun project.

February Stamp Club Projects

It seems like forever since I've shared the projects we are making at club.  These are 3 of the 4 projects we are making at club.  I actually decided to select some of my favorite swaps from Leadership to do this month plus an extra card that has a cute little bow on it that is made using the bow maker that is pictured.  My friend Connie Stewart gave me the bow maker as a gift at Leadership and I knew we had to do something with it.  The biggest surprise is that all of my club members will leave with their own bow maker.  My husband is the best and he came through for me using his machines at work to make a ton for me.  I even have a couple of extra that I will be offering in March and April for my special hostesses those months.

I want to give credit to the people that I swapped these projected with at Leadership.  The cute bunny project was done by my very talented friend Sherri Peters (she is so good at punch art), the Cherry card was done by Brenda McBride, and the adorable thinking of you card was designed by Susan McNamara.

If you have ever thought about joining a club let me know.  I live in the Roscoe, IL area and I would love to have you join me.  I've almost got enough interest to start another group.  We will probably get that up and going in March but we can still make these projects.  So let me know if you want to get together with a great group of people to stamp every month and get a turn to be the hostess one of the months.

August Club Projects

These are the projects we are making at club in August.  We are making 3 cute cards and then a really fun sachet for your drawer using the Big Shot Envelope die.  I'll post pictures of these projects separately over the next couple of days with all the details but at least you get an idea of the fun things we are doing this month.  Our technique is double embossing using the embossing folder and you are going to love this idea.  If you live in Roscoe, IL and would like to attend one of my club nights just let me know.  I would love to have you join me.  If you are interested in a virtual club please let me know. I've been toying with this idea and if I have interest I would love to offer this in the future.

March Stampin' Up! Club Projects

This is one of the cute projects we are or made as the case may be this month in stamp club.  My wonderful friend Connie Stewart shared this idea with me and I just knew you would all love it.

In addition to making the snowball bunny Connie also shared her idea for a chocolate version. Everyone that purchased $50 got to go home with all the supplies to make the chocolate version as well.  As much as you all loved getting to take home a project I'm sure that will be something I'll offer again in the future.

I've got interest in starting a club in April.  I only need a one or two more people so let me know if you live in the Rockford, IL / Roscoe, IL area.  I would love to have you join me.

 

 

 

 

 

Isn't this chocolate version adorable.  I love that you have an idea for the chocolate lovers in your life as well.  Anyone young or old would love getting these cute little guys.

Stamp Club Projects for January

I wanted to quickly post the stamp club projects that we made this month for club.  I'm not going to put a lot of details because I'm having major computer problems but hopefully you will at least enjoy the pictures.

You can get this stamp set free during sale-a-bration.  Sale-a-bration starts January 25th and you can earn a free stamp set for every $50 in merchandise that you purchase.  Plus when you host a party, for every $300 in sales you will also get a free sale-a-bration item.  I'll post more details on the 25th.

This was a swap card I received from Jan House.  I absolutely fell in love with it and can see lots of possibilities in the future.  Just taking the apron idea I pictures a Father's Day card or for a BBQ invite. Isn't the card adorable.

I've got a new stamp club starting this month and I still have an open space.  Contact me right away if you live in the Rockford, IL or Roscoe, IL area and would like to join me.  Stamp clubs are a great way to get lots of ideas and learn new techniques.  Plus you get a turn being the hostess.  Contact me if you would like more information.

Butterfly Card

 

This great card was a swap card I received at convention.  Margaret Raburn designed it and I loved it so much that we made this at my August stamp club.  We used the distressing tool kit across the design paper to give it a worn look.  Isn't it adorable.

Supplies Used:

Cardstock:  So Saffron, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Newsprint designer paper

Ink:  Basic Black

Stamp:  Stampin' Up! Perfect Punches

Accessories:  Pearl jewels, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Big Shot & Distressing Tool Kit

Notably Ornate Club Box

 

Okay, I'm so sorry that my poor blog has been neglected.  I was able to get my oldest daughter off to college at the beginning of the month.  I definitely have mixed feeling about seeing her go but I know that there comes a time to let your kids grow up.  After returning home from that trip I was able to get about five days home before I left for Founder's Circle and in that time I also had to do 135 swaps for Founder's Circle.  Needless to say I think you can see I've had a busy schedule.  I can tell you that I have some absolutely fabulous swaps to share from Founder's Circle along with some great pictures of the events.  Until I can find a few minutes to load everything I thought I would share one of last months club projects.

Supplies Used:

Fancy Favor Big Shot Box - we just the top off the box so the notecards would show

Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler

Stamps:  Notably Ornate

Accessories:  Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Pearl jewels, twine, & Wide oval punch

You can also add a magnet to the back of the box and hang it on your fridge so you have paper at your hand.

Quilt Card Club Project

We made this card last month for club and it was so much fun.  It really is so much easier then it looks.  You just used the 1 1/4" square punch to make the pattern.  I figured I better share it now before I start sharing all my awesome samples from my group shoebox swap yesterday.  We had a blast and my friend Candy came as a guest. With the special starter kit for only $99 so many of my friends couldn't pass up the deal and I'm excited to welcome Candy, Lacy, Sarah and Shannon to my group.  I always love when new people join because they bring so much enthusiasm to our group.  There is nothing like being a brand new Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

I also want to announce a few winners.  Marianna Biladello is the winner of the door prize from my used stamp sale and Louise Stocker is the winner of my awesome basket of goodies.  Congratulations to both of you.

Adorable Club Project - Cruise Idea

I got this idea from Lisa Curio on the Stampin' UP! cruise.  This adorable box is made using the 2 tag die and the Big Shot.  The measurements for the piece in the middle to make the box are:  2 7/8" X 6 3/4".  On the 2 7/8"side score at 1/2" on both sides and on the 6 3/4" side score at 2" from both sides.  Then just glue this in between two tags cut from the 2 tags die.  It is that easy.

To finish the both, we used the new builder wheels from the Summer mini catalog.  We used the Birthday and Posy Party and ran it across the Soft Suede cardstock.  I have to say I'm loving the new builder wheel.  I hope you like this idea.

Tropical Party Club Project

Each month at club I try and show a new technique.  This month we did the watercolor wash technique.  It is so easy to do.  You just take watercolor crayons and scribble on shimmer white cardstock.  Then using your aquapainter you blend the colors.  I used Close to Cocoa, Ballet Blue & Brilliant Blue crayons on this card.  Of course I then finished off the card with the Tropical Party stamp set.  Another fun idea on this card is to run your ink pad across your cardstock after you have used an embossing folder.  It really adds a fun look.
