2016 Holiday Catalog

Okay, I know I have neglected my blog for some time but had no idea how bad it was until I realized I haven't posted since the Occasions catalog came out.  Well, the new Holiday catalog came out this month and there are lots of good things in the new catalog.  I'm doing a BOGO sale this Saturday between 9:30 and 11:00 am.  Come check out the new catalog and lots of fun samples.  For every retired item you purchase you will get equivalent new product for free.  It is a great deal that you will love.  Hope to see you Saturday.

Fundraiser for the West View Elementary School

For every kit that I sell of the Everyday Occasions Card Kit for the month of November $5 will be doanted to the West View Elementary School.  All of the funds raised will be used as an incentive to help reward children for good behavior.  I will place an order on November 15th and November 30th to order all the kits.  It will then take 7-10 days once the order is placed for the kits to arrive.  You can also order kits on-line here.  The code for the month of November is DUVDV3KK.  If you order on-line make sure to use this code so you get the free tutorial for this month.

Consider ordering kits for yourself or for gifts.  This kit is fabulous and includes everything to make 20 cards with envelopes but the best part is you still have the stamps, ink, block and more to continue stamping more projects.  The kit includes the following:

Stamp-a-Stack to Benefit the Goldie B. Floberg Center

This is a fabulous opportunity to make a difference for the Goldie B. Floberg Center.  This charitable organization has been serving the needs of children, teens, and adults with disabilities throughout Northern Illinois since 1918.  We will hold the event at the Center located at 58 W. Rockton Rd., Rockton, IL on Saturday, November 22nd from 9:30 am to noon.  We will also have a silent auction at the event to raise additional funds.  The silent auction will be held at 11:30 am.

At this event you will make 2 cards of 5 designs for a total 10 cards including envelopes.  You will write a $20 tax deductible check to the Goldie B. Floberg Center and a $5 check to me to cover some of the supplies.  I'll be covering part of the cost of the supplies for this event.  If you can't attend but would like to help out by buying a kit just let me know.  We will actually send completed cards to anyone that purchases a kit.  You can also just make donation if that works better for you.

I have included a sneak peek of a couple of the cards that we will be making.  This is a great way to get some Christmas card ideas and help this great organization.

Giving Back in November

I'm truly thankful for so much in my life and I've decided that with Thanksgiving this month it would be a perfect time to offer something to give back to the community.  I've got 3 fun things going on this month that I hope will make a difference for some wonderful organizations.

    1)  Christmas Stamp-a-Stack to benefit the Goldie B. Floberg Center - Saturday, November 22nd from 9:30 am to Noon

    2)  West View Elementary Fundraiser - Everyday Occasions Kit sale - for every kit sold in the month of November $5 will be donated to the school to help offer a fun incentive for the kids good behavior.

    3) For every workshops or catalog parties held between November 24th and December 5th I will donate 10% of the total sales to your choice of the Goldie B. Floberg Center or the Salvation Army (your choice)

I will do a separate post with more information on the stamp-a-stack tomorrow and then details on the West View Elementary school the day after that.  

I think it is important to not try and cram this all into one post so stay tuned for more details. I hope that you will help me make a difference.

Another Flower Patch Card

This is another one of the card I designed for my Flower Patch class on July 10th at 6:30 pm.  I used the following supplies:

Cardstock:  Whisper White, Blue Lagoon, and Crushed Curry

Ink:  Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry,  Wild Wasabi, Mossy Meadow and the black momento ink pad

Accessories:  Pearl, Scallop Circle Punch, and Lost Lagoon Ribbon
