February Stamp Club Projects

It seems like forever since I've shared the projects we are making at club.  These are 3 of the 4 projects we are making at club.  I actually decided to select some of my favorite swaps from Leadership to do this month plus an extra card that has a cute little bow on it that is made using the bow maker that is pictured.  My friend Connie Stewart gave me the bow maker as a gift at Leadership and I knew we had to do something with it.  The biggest surprise is that all of my club members will leave with their own bow maker.  My husband is the best and he came through for me using his machines at work to make a ton for me.  I even have a couple of extra that I will be offering in March and April for my special hostesses those months.

I want to give credit to the people that I swapped these projected with at Leadership.  The cute bunny project was done by my very talented friend Sherri Peters (she is so good at punch art), the Cherry card was done by Brenda McBride, and the adorable thinking of you card was designed by Susan McNamara.

If you have ever thought about joining a club let me know.  I live in the Roscoe, IL area and I would love to have you join me.  I've almost got enough interest to start another group.  We will probably get that up and going in March but we can still make these projects.  So let me know if you want to get together with a great group of people to stamp every month and get a turn to be the hostess one of the months.

Rue Des Fleurs Samples

Todays samples focus on the stamp set called Rue Des Fleurs.  These are all samples that were on display at Leadership.  They are fabulouus.

Tea Shoppe Sample from Leadership

For the next couple of days I'm going to focus on different sets in the mini catalog and show you some samples from Leadership.  Some are from the displays and a few are swaps.  I hope you enjoy these ideas.

Stampin' Up! Leadership Sale-a-bration Samples

Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! Leadership Highlights

Okay, I know it has taken me far to long to post a few pictures from Leadership.  I've got my computer issues fixed and now my camera is giving me fits.  I think it may finally be time to invest in a new camera but luckily I already had my Leadership pictures loaded on my computer.

 

Isn't this an adorable card.  I didn't receive this card as a swap but I loved it so much I got a picture.

 

 

 

 

 

We had a blast at the Manager's Reception. They closed down the Wildhorse Salon just for us.  Unfortunately our bus was one of the last to arrive so we were up on the top level.  But we still got to enjoy the entertainment and great food.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course, you can't leave the Manager's Reception without a gift.  Isn't the packaging cute on the set that I got.  I can't reveal the set yet because it won't be available until the next mini catalog but I think you will all like it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Check out this cute idea that Shelley shared with everyone.  This is the new Petal Cone die found on page 15 of the mini catalog.  I never thought to make something going the other direction.  I just love it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was such a great idea when Shelley shared it I wondered why know one had come up with idea yet.  She took one of the Simply Adorn bracelets and make a double looped necklace. Isn't that brilliant.  So cute!!!

Of course, I've got the share the other side of the charm.  Isn't that adorable.  I just love the little touch of glitter from the glitter paper.  Love it!!!

 

 

Stampin' Up! had the most amazing displays.  I couldn't even imagine how much time must have been put into making them.  This one of the items that was so incredible.  Unfortunately, no matter how much I tried my picture just didn't do it justice.  Hopefully, you can get the idea.  This heart is made using only the Stampin' Up! crown trinkets, key trinkets and baubles found on page 24 of the mini catalog.  Can you believe it?

Happy Moments Swap Cards

 
Stampin' Up! Leadership is fabulous.  I thought I would share my swap card today.  It is very simple using the sale-a-bration set called Happy Moments.  I used the new Perfect Polkda Dots embossing folder on the white cardstock and hopefully you can see it in the pictures.  I'm loving this new embossing folder we will be using this on so many projects in the future.  Also, I bought this set in the unmounted version and I loved the fact that I was able too put the cake and words on the same block to stamp.  There are definitely some benefits to the unmounted option.

I've got so much information from the Leadership classes and can't wait to share everything with my downline at my next downline meeting on Monday, January 25th at 6:30 pm.  If you are in my downline don't forget to RSVP this meeting is going to be wonderful.  Plus if you are in the Roscoe, IL area and are interested in seeing what it is like to be a demonstrator contact about coming as my guest.

I can't wait to come home and make some of the sample projects shown on stage.  I've taken lots of pictures and if I get a chance I'll try and post a few pictures tonight.  I definitely have some great class ideas and you know I'll be stamping my samples as soon as I get home.

Occasions Mini Catalog

I'm heading out for Stampin' Up! Leadership tomorrow.  I have to leave the house at 3:00 am.  Don't you feel sorry for me.  Other then the fact that I'm heading to Phoenix were it is quite a bit warmer than Illinois.  I'm super excited to share ideas with fellow demonstrators and can't wait to come home and share everything with you.  Plan to join me on January 14 for my open house.  I will have lots of swaps and projects to share.

Manager's Reception at Leadership

I know Leadership was several weeks ago but I'm just now getting around to sharing some of the fun with you.

This year all the Managers and above got to have a special evening at the Super Hero Island.  It was lots of fun and like always Stampin' Up! really went all out.

 

This is me with my roommate Kim.  We went on the 3D Spiderman ride several times.  It was pretty fun.  Unfortunately, I passed on the Hulk ride and Kim had to do that one on her own.

 

Something that was really cool was the fact that there were lots of different signs up through out the park with stamp!, Swap!, Punch!, Crop!  I thought they were really cool and took pictures of all of them.  I figured they would be great for my scrapbook.

 

We got to take pictures with Spiderman, Captain America,  and a bunch of other characters that quite honestly I wasn't really sure who they were.  But here I am with some of them anyways.  My son told me these were X-Men so I'll go along with that.

 

Finally, I got to take my picture with Shelli at the end of the night.  She is always so gracious.  I really don't usually try and get my picture with her because I feel like she is always bombarded with that kind of thing.  But you would never know it.  She is always so kind and never makes you feel like you are intruding.

As you can see the Manager's reception was an absolutely fun filled night.  I'll try and share a few of my favorite swaps in the next couple of days.  In fact, we will be making one of the swaps at club in February.  It uses the bubble wrap technique with one of my new favorite sets called Just Buzzin' By.  It is simply adorable.
