Okay, I apologize for the fact that you haven't seem me for awhile.  I'll give you a quick update.  I have some very large kidney stones that are going to have to be removed surgically.  I got a stint put in when I was in the hospital and that has helped so much.  The last couple of days I have really started feeling much better so hopefully I can hang in there until my surgery in April.  I've decided to wait until tax season is over and my doctor has agreed. To be honest, I'm not sure how much I will be able to post over this time period.  I really have to rest and take it easy to get through this, so I may post occasionally but until my surgery and recovery period is over, I'm sure it will not be much. 

I will continue with my clubs and classes that I have scheduled.  I'm just really not putting any additional workshops or classes on my calendar at the moment, so stay tuned for things to pick back up once I'm recovered and back to my normal self.

Today, I'm sharing this great card that was on display at Leadership.  I just love this cute set called Just Buzzin' By.  We made a card using this set at clubs last week and I'll try and post that card sometime in the future when I feel up to it.

Big Shot Class Cancelled Tonight

Okay, I'm just trying to make sure that the word got out that my Big Shot class is cancelled tonight.  I will hold my next class on March 3rd at 6:30 pm.  I just got home from the hospital battling kidney stones.  Unfortunately, I will be heading to Madison for additional treatments, but I'll keep you posted.  Thanks for your understanding, now I'm off to bed.

Manager's Reception at Leadership

I know Leadership was several weeks ago but I'm just now getting around to sharing some of the fun with you.

This year all the Managers and above got to have a special evening at the Super Hero Island.  It was lots of fun and like always Stampin' Up! really went all out.

 

This is me with my roommate Kim.  We went on the 3D Spiderman ride several times.  It was pretty fun.  Unfortunately, I passed on the Hulk ride and Kim had to do that one on her own.

 

Something that was really cool was the fact that there were lots of different signs up through out the park with stamp!, Swap!, Punch!, Crop!  I thought they were really cool and took pictures of all of them.  I figured they would be great for my scrapbook.

 

We got to take pictures with Spiderman, Captain America,  and a bunch of other characters that quite honestly I wasn't really sure who they were.  But here I am with some of them anyways.  My son told me these were X-Men so I'll go along with that.

 

Finally, I got to take my picture with Shelli at the end of the night.  She is always so gracious.  I really don't usually try and get my picture with her because I feel like she is always bombarded with that kind of thing.  But you would never know it.  She is always so kind and never makes you feel like you are intruding.

As you can see the Manager's reception was an absolutely fun filled night.  I'll try and share a few of my favorite swaps in the next couple of days.  In fact, we will be making one of the swaps at club in February.  It uses the bubble wrap technique with one of my new favorite sets called Just Buzzin' By.  It is simply adorable.

Stamp Camp Projects

This Thursday is my stamp camp with a Valentine's Day theme.  We are going to make some great projects and I thought I would share 2 of the projects with you today.

I got both of these projects in a 3D swap I did at Leadership and I decided they were perfect to go along with my theme.  The first project was desiged by Joanna Jones.  She actually had a lots of fun projects  in a bag, but we are only going to make this cute criss cross box.

 

 

Isn't this adorable.  I love the Love you Much stamp set and it is so cute with the scallop circle punch.

 

 

The second project was designed by Candice Anderson and it would make a special gift.  Just by adding your own pictures it would make a great gift for grandparents or just about anyone.

Again, using the Love you Much stamp set and the candy lane paper just really makes this project adorable.

Now look at the other side.  Isn't this project gorgeous.  Well, I have a pretty full class, but many have ordered the Valentine's Day bundle and will hopefully be bringing the set and matching punch with them on Thursday, so if you live in the Roscoe, IL area and are interested in joining me for this class please contact me right away.  Once I start prepping on Tuesday night I will not be able to accomodate any additional people.
