Christmas Classics Card

 

Isn't this card cute.  This is one of the cards from Glenda's meeting.  I just didn't get a chance to sharing everything.  I really love just the touch of ribbon.  It is amazing how you can add such a small piece, but it can really make a big difference.

Supplies Used:

Stamps:  Christmas Classics & Twill Background

Cardstock:  Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Whisper White

Ink:  Riding Hood Red & Baja Breeze

Accessories:  Horizontal Slot punch, Riding Hood Red striped Ribbon, Riding Hood Red Designer Paper, Tag Corner punch, 1/2" circle punch, sponges, silver brads & dimensionals

Mom & Me Calendar Project

This is the calendar that everyone made at my Mom & Me class.  I shared the original project idea from Debbie Naylor a couple of days ago.  I found that the Big Scallop die for the Big Shot was the perfect size for the round coasters.  We just cut out two scallop circles and then glued them to the circle coasters.  It was very simple and a great little gift idea.  The kids had a few choices in colors, but I think most went with this one.

Open House & Gift Giving Opportunity

I've decided it is time to have a fun Open House on Saturday, December 13th between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.  If you are in the Roscoe, IL area you are welcome to drop by anytime during this time period to make a couple of free Christmas tags.  I will have specials, door prizes and lots of yummy refreshments. I will also have the opportunity for you to make a few last minute gifts.  You can make a set of 4 coasters or a framed gift for $15.00 each.  You can RSVP if you would like to ensure your spot to make the gifts.  Otherwise, I will have enough supplies for 8 people to make each project.  Just feel free to drop by anytime.  Here are the coasters I made the other day to give you an idea on what you can make.  These really are nice to give and you can choose something that will fit the personality of the person you are giving them to.

 

The coasters have a nice cork bottom so they won't damage the items that you place them on.  I used the Nature Silhouettes stamp set to make these coasters.  I think they are perfect because they aren't too girly.

Mom & Me Calendar Project

 

This is a really easy little gift to make.  I actually received this in a swap last year from Debbie Naylor.  I took this idea and had everyone at my Mom & Me class make something similar.  I ordered the little calendars online at www.stamponthis.com.  It made it super easy to finish the project.  You could also print your own calendars but I figure my time is worth something and I would rather buy them.  I used circle coasters for the base.  I will take a picture of my version of the project and share that in a day or two.

Home Decor Decorative Tile

 

Isn't this a fun project.  I've been trying to share ideas lately that would make good gifts.  I think this is a really fun idea.  Just by taking a tile and adding some Decor Elements you have a very nice item to put on display.  I'm actually not sure who made this because it was on display at the meeting that I went to in November.  Anyways, I think it is super cute and hopefully it will get you thinking about all the fun things you can do with the Home Decor Elements.

Snowman Kisses

 

Isn't this so cute.  I made this at Glenda's meeting at the beginning of the month and it is absolutely the cutest.  The dimensions on the Bashful Blue cardstock is 4 3/8" X 3" and then score 1 7/8" from each side.  You do have to make sure you use a snowman that has a big enough bottom circle so you can use the 3/4" circle.  One this one we used the snowman from the cute set called Punch Pals.  Just add a little glitter and some ribbon and what a cute little gift.

Matching Game - Mom & Me Class

 

This is one of the fun projects that the kids & Moms will be able to make at my Mom & Me class on Saturday.  This is a fun matching game that goes into a little tin so it is portable.  This is perfect for the kids to keep for themselves or to give as a gift to family or friends.  I actually had this in my purse at church on Sunday and I was so glad I did.  I ended up having to help out in one of the classes for the kids and after giving the lesson there was a little extra time.  I pulled out this game and they had a blast.  We even played two rounds.  In fact, the kids were so cute and asked if I could be a substitute again so we could play the game in the future.  So I guess it was a hit.  Anyways, I will be prepping for my class on Wednesday so if you are in the Roscoe/Rockford area and would like to attend it costs $20.00 total for Mom & Child and $8.00 for each additional child.  Please contact me right away if you would like to attend.
